PROJECT XPAN - LIVERPOOL 2017

PROJECT XPAN - CAPTURE THE WORLD, ONE CAMERA, ONE LENS AND ONE PERSPECTIVE

The first images captured with the Hasselblad Xpan as I commence 'Project Xpan'. These images were captured in Liverpool mainly during lunch time wonders. I shot with Ilford HP5 and FP4 and one film of Kodak Ektar. It took some time to get used to the rangefinder focussing and also the shutter speed display being on the back not the viewfinder. The biggest problem I had was tilting horizons which required correcting and cropping in post processing. I believe I may have been dipping the camera when I pressed the shutter release, so I fitted a spirit level to the hot shoe. I hope you enjoy the images, there is a video version on my YouTube channel as well.
